Where We Give

Winner Methodist Church has a deep belief in Jesus's words to,


"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19, NET)


Everyone cannot "Go" throughout the world or even across our country to teach others of the gospel, the good news that Jesus's love has made eternity possible for everyone. What we can do though is support those who are doing these things, and to serve those in and around our town, state, nation, and world who are hurting with the resources that Christ has given us.


Below are some ways in which we partner in sharing both the Gospel and God's love.

International

South Africa

Winner Methodist Church has been blessed to be able to be a very small partner of the international missions agency, Blessman International® and their work in South Africa.


Blessman International's stated mission is, "We exist to bring South African children and their families the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ through faith formation and locally sustainable programs."


Some of their work includes feeding thousands of preschool kids meals they would not otherwise have access to, the digging of wells so the preschools and villages have fresh, clean water, providing safe bathroom facilities, agricultural training and support, building churches, and so much more. You can see some of what they do HERE.


Winner Methodist partners with them to help feed the preschool kids and we have supported two preschool communities in Madiba Limpopo, and Masodi, with fresh water wells.

National Missions

All of our country is aware of the tragedy that took place in South Texas on July 4th, 2025. Unimagined flooding devastated whole communities and ended over 130 lives.


Winner Methodist Church is currently engaged in a fundraising campaign. Our Missions Committee has challenged our church to raise funds, of which, every dollar will go completely and directly to the needs of people in the South Texas community, through the MidTexas Global Methodist Church Conference.


In addition, our Missions Committee willl match the first $10,000 given, dollar-for-dollar.

Local and Regional

South Dakota

Winner Methodist Church gives to many local needs to include:


  • Winner Rotary Club Backpack Feeding Program
  • Complete Holiday Meals for Needy Families
  • Supporting Youth Missions Trips to the US Midwest States
  • Spotted Tail Children's Home in Rosebud, SD
  • Fuller Center for Housing National Bicycle Ride
  • Tree of Life Ministry in Missions, SD


In 2025, the Winner Methodist Missions Committee will donate more than $30,000 to international, national, regional, and local needs all while spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who need to hear the good news.
